Who are Mobile Career Navigators?

Mobile career navigators bring resources and services from the Baltimore Mayor’s Office of Employment Development (MOED) to neighborhoods where access is often limited and connect residents from underserved communities to employment and training services.

Residents can request to meet mobile career navigators at libraries, coffee shops and other public places around Baltimore City. You choose the location and we come to you! Businesses and organizations can invite mobile career navigators to their events, chapter meetings or locations. Spanish language services are also available.

Mobile Career Navigators help residents:

  • Register on the Maryland Workforce Exchange at bit.ly/MWE-Reg
  • Apply to jobs online
  • Write resumes
  • Get information on training
  • Get information on adult education & literacy programs
  • Find support services to health, childcare, housing, food, financial literacy, legal assistance, and other social services as needed
